Chief Apostle Arlandus T. Chimney is the Presiding Prelate of Chimson Ministries Inc, Headquarters Livingston Texas and is also the Senior Pastor of The Promise Community Church in Nacogdoches Texas. Bishop Arlandus T. Chimney has served in many positions in his service for the Kingdom of God as Vice Presiding Prelate of Chimson Ministries Inc for the last 4 years directly assisting the late Chief Apostle Bishop Rayford A. Chimney, Th.D. in all official duty and services. Before this appointment of service, Bishop Arlandus T. Chimney was the CEO of Chimson Ministries where he assisted the Establishmentarians with the initial development of the Chimson Ministries, Inc in 2011 and worked diligently behind the scenes to serve the ministry in all administrative capacities even until this day. Bishop Arlandus T. Chimney also served under the tutelage of Chief Apostle Clifford T. Olford, Th.D as the Executive Elder of New Zion Temple of Deliverance.
Bishop Arlandus T. Chimney began his education studies at Stephen F. Austin State University with a focus of study in Psychology; he then transitioned to the University of Phoenix. He received a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Theology of Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Theology.
Bishop Arlandus T. Chimney is also a Master Martial Artist with over 30 yrs of experience earning his 6thDegree Black Belt, inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2018 and the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2020, also featured in the World Greatest Martial Artist publication. Under the spiritual direction of God and approval of the late Chief Apostle Rayford A. Chimney, Th.D., he established Mpower Mission Ministries (M3) which teaches the spiritual aspect of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through martial arts, touching and changing one life at a time. With the favor of God, Bishop Chinney has been blessed to oversee a new mission, under Chimson Ministries Int’l with locations in Philippines, Africa, and The Americas; with new future plants in Nigeria, Thailand, Honduras, Brazil, Canada, Guatemala, and Ghana. It is their mission to recruit, train, and disciple missionaries, ministers, and ministries to facilitate God’s work locally and internationally.
As a professional recording artist, Bishop Chimney has been gifted to play multiple instruments and uses his voice to reach the masses. He started his music career at a young age singing and playing bass guitar in church. As he developed, Bishop Chimney began composing his own music and started a gospel jazz band. He has collaborated with some of the world’s greatest cultural music and even being listed number two on the world jazz charts. Along with composer Rom Ryan and world renowned violinist Ferenc Illenyi, the single “Only By Faith”, at which Bishop Chimney is the vocalist, is still being shared globally today.
Of all the blessing bestowed upon Bishop Chimney, his family is the most important. He is blessed to be married to the love of his life, Dr. Veronica H. Chimney, Ed.D and they have six children: Chelsi, Jaylon, Chloe, Kailey, Scarlet, and McKenzie; two grandchildren: Cobain & Halo. Bishop Chimney credits his parents, the late Chief Apostle Rayford A. Chimney, Th.D. and Dr. Ruby Chimney, Th.D., for raising him in Holiness and laying a Godly foundation. He also is very proud to be the youngest sibling of Pastor Johnny K. Johnson, Jr., Apostle Kimberly Washington, Minister Patrick Johnson, Felice Chimney, Bishop Robert L. Johnson, Sr., Th.D., Rad Chimney, and Denise Hall, whom he loves dearly. God has graced this family with a deep love for one another and given them a destiny to build a kingdom of God and carry the Legacy.
Bishop Chimney’s ideology in life is: “Self Empowerment! Be better today than you were yesterday, and better tomorrow than you are today; one day at a time planting seeds of love and goodness while God gives the increase mentally, physically, and spiritually. Life is about God’s balance!
